Sometimes evil slip into our lives

Proverbs 16: 17  The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. 18  Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall 19  Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, Sometimes evil slip into our lives, unnoticed. One of these evils are Pride. Best Selling author Joyce Meyer explains “Marriages, friendship, and business relationships are destroyed due to men and women not understanding the differences that make us unique.   In our pride we usually think that we are a shining example of what is right, and we expect everyone to act as we do and like what we like, but that is fantasy, not fact. God made men and women to be different in many different ways. We need to remember that those differences aren’t better or worse, they just different” Just as iron sharpens iron, friends words can help you to become aware of pride.   Guard your heart, in your journey when God to reveals pride in

I choose to confess my own sin

Romans 14:10-12 (PHILLIPS) -12  Why, then, criticise your brother’s actions, why try to make him look small? We shall all be judged one day, not by each other’s standards or even our own, but by the standard of Christ. It is written: ‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God’. It is to God alone that we have to answer for our actions. I have a tendency to replay situations over and over in my head.   It’s a way of processing information and trying to justify my thoughts and actions. This happens mostly when I become aware that I have sinned. It’s so easy to see other peoples faults.   The difficult part for me is not to judge. I have thought about this deep and long. I do not know their hearts, how can I?   I do not know where they are coming from, if I was in their shoes, what would I have done.   I’m NOT.   I only know my circumstances, I only have control over my thoughts and actions, I am responsible before God for

Fill your heart with Gods promises

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. Psalm 103:17-18 KJV Guard your heart.   When doubt enters my mind and my feet feel shaky, I know I must fill my heart with Gods truth and promises. Every time I give myself to God, I get strengthen in faith.   Knowing that placing myself in His hand, I am in the best hands ever. All God’s promises is yah and amen. I remind myself that GOD is faithful and just. Understanding our great and mighty God is, is a great mystery, as we draw nearer to Him, he open our eyes so we can know Him better.   One of God’s name reveals him as EL ROY, the God who sees me.  I take comfort in that He sees me and are with me every step of the way. Today I want to say to myself and everyone joining me in this walk of guarding your heart.   “Let not your heart be troubl

Keep and Guard your heart

Proverbs 4:23 (AMP)   23  Keep  and  guard your heart with all vigilance  and  above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. We are so busy with things, that sometimes we slip up on the most important thing. For me that ONE THING that I want to focus on, the ONE THING that determine how I live my life, how I handle people, how I make decisions that effects my personal and professional life is my heart . I want to keep my heart soft, and pure before God. In order to do this I have come to the realization that I must guard my heart . Protecting one's heart is of utmost importance. In life's journey we only have one life, which we walk, one day at a time. We can change course, make decisions that would influence our future. As from this morning, I would like to include you in my journey, in guarding my heart. My default point of reference will always be from The Bible. You can choose your own default point of reference. I would like to echo
