Be rooted and grounded in love

Ephesians 3:17-19 KJV
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

2 Corinthians 3:6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.)

I want to trust God to lead me by the Holy Spirit in wisdom.  Through Jesus we have received forgiveness, mercy and hope.

I want to ‘repent’ often, allow my heart to be change by God, changing my heart and mind to line up with Gods heart. 

As our Leader, Jesus lifestyle was such and example of the Father’s heart.  Jesus went about doing God’s will, not judging and condemning people because of their outward sin (that could be see with human eyes).

He loved people, touching their hearts by meeting their needs. Thus enabling them to experience the love of the Father.

He embrace me with love and acceptance

James 5:11 (NCV) 11  We say they are happy because they did not give up. You have heard about Job’s patience, and you know the Lord’s purpose for him in the end. You know the Lord is full of mercy and is kind. I am happy and content at where I am in my life. This morning I just want to take some time out to praise and worship the Lord Most High. He is worthy of all praise. I have found that in stillness, He will embrace me with love and acceptance . This indeed is food for my soul. In His presence there is no need to compete, just receive His grace, his unmerited favor if you like. Just be bold and believe as you draw still before the Father. He who has Jesus, has the Father. God looks after the things he owns.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 King James Version (KJV) But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. God looks after the things he owns. I am His, bought by the blood of Jesus. He owns me. I will consider the hand of God, He is involved in my life every day, God is unfailingly faithful. I will make it to the other side, because God is faithful. God is faithful not because of my faith, but because of His Word. Not only is he faithful, he is merciful, and full of compassion, slow to anger.
