Looking to God, make all the difference

Habakkuk 3:17-19 (MSG) | Whole Chapter
17-19 
Though the cherry trees don’t blossom
    and the strawberries don’t ripen,
Though the apples are worm-eaten
    and the wheat fields stunted,
Though the sheep pens are sheepless
    and the cattle barns empty,
I’m singing joyful praise to God.
    I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God.
Counting on God’s Rule to prevail,
    I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
    I feel like I’m king of the mountain!

Who do you look to?  

This morning I was confronted with feelings, overwhelmed by circumstances out of my control.  Solutions to situations I do not have answers to.

Draw strength, because the Lord is your strength, remind yourself who this Lord is again.

Jehovah THE LORD IS THERE
Adonoi  THE LORD MY GREAT LORD
Supreme ruler
Elohim Adonai ALL–POWERFUL ONE CRATOR
Conqueror
YHWE – I AM, THE SELF- EXISTENT ONE

God is so faithful, in lifting my spirit, giving me hope and faith.  Looking to Him make all the difference. A life of faith is never a life trying to obtain victory. Victory is a position we have in God. I am born of God. I have overcome.

19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!

He embrace me with love and acceptance

James 5:11 (NCV) 11  We say they are happy because they did not give up. You have heard about Job’s patience, and you know the Lord’s purpose for him in the end. You know the Lord is full of mercy and is kind. I am happy and content at where I am in my life. This morning I just want to take some time out to praise and worship the Lord Most High. He is worthy of all praise. I have found that in stillness, He will embrace me with love and acceptance . This indeed is food for my soul. In His presence there is no need to compete, just receive His grace, his unmerited favor if you like. Just be bold and believe as you draw still before the Father. He who has Jesus, has the Father. God looks after the things he owns.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 King James Version (KJV) But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. God looks after the things he owns. I am His, bought by the blood of Jesus. He owns me. I will consider the hand of God, He is involved in my life every day, God is unfailingly faithful. I will make it to the other side, because God is faithful. God is faithful not because of my faith, but because of His Word. Not only is he faithful, he is merciful, and full of compassion, slow to anger.
